The Mighty Moustache Site

Adam Rozenhart, a local Twitter celebrity in Edmonton participated in the Movember charity drive in 2010 and 2011. Movember (the month formerly known as November) is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health. To help Adam get more donations and increase his exposure, I created a interactive poster to act as a landing page for his donation page.

If you want to know more about Adam, you can find him on Twitter

For this project Adobe Illustrator was used to create the images for the site's interface. The site was built in Adobe Flash using Actionscript 3.0.

This project is no longer active online as Movember has passed for this year.

Rod Elliott Racing Site

An amateur race car team with a lime green 1970 Dodge Barracuda, Rod Elliott Racing required a site that was easy to update. With races every second weekend in the summer, large and frequent updates to the picture galleries were a must. To accomplish this, 'rodelliottracing.com' was built using the CMS Wordpress, with a custom content uploader to handle large uploads.

Wanting something that would stand out from competitors, this site was styled to look more like a show car site rather then a racing site. Sleek lines and professional quality photos were utilized to create the feel of nostalgic elegance through-out the site.

This site is currently offline for the season.

Rod Elliott Racing Identity

An amateur race car team with a lime green 1970 Dodge Barracuda, Rod Elliott Racing required a logo that showcased the car as well as had a nostalgic feel to it. Using a retro style of illustration the car was created between the letters to give the sense of motion to it.

Slimer, a nickname given to the car in reference to the iconic movie Ghost Busters, was used to inspire 2 posters used as promotional items for the race team. These images were used on the back of driver signature cards and for full sized posters handed out to fans. A combination of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop was used to complete this project.

Learn Alberta Prospective's

Working under the direction of 1SIX1 Media Ltd, these illustrations were created for a flash animation that was being created for Learn Alberta for their new initiative to help Edmonton Public school teachers deliver their Aboriginal studies curriculum.

Working under Freida Gladue of 1SIX1 Media Ltd the illustrations were first sketched out on paper and then built in vector format in Adobe Illustrator styled to be a silhouette creating the illusion of shadow puppets being projected onto a dried hide.

Originally created for Spacenun Media, a small design company here in Edmonton. These spaceship illustrations were designed to be fun and whimsical with a retro twist. Although I have stepped away from the company, I still love these spaceships and their simplicity.
